Cute Little Cup Sleeve

I've been meaning to make one of these for a long time, but never seemed to be in-between projects. Finally today I grabbed a file folder to make the pattern from my coffee cup and 2 of the first coordinating fabrics at hand and started to play.
I used a scrap of cotton batting for insulation and cush.

Four polyester (iron safe) snaps found in my sewing basket.

So cute. I am happy with how it turned out. These would make great little gifts with new reusable silicon-lidded ceramic coffee cups like mine. I got mine at World Market, but I have seen them sold all over the place. It saves me tons of money because I make my own coffee instead of going to the drive through. It fits just perfectly in my car cup holder. Aaaaaahhhh...warm coffee all the way to work to drink and use as a hand warmer, not a hand scalder. Win.

Some of My Heart

My dad and 2 of his minature dacshunds Sam and Frank. That's my beautiful Nancy daughter. It was Christmas time at my folks' house.

Me and silly Anna daughter out to lunch with my ma and my 2 other daughters on Christmas Eve. That was sooooo fun! The restaurant must have felt very quiet after we left.

My ma and my Haley daughter at the Christmas-Eve lunch. Pretty ladies.

Quilt that I am working on for my bed. Whew, it's huge!

Ink

In case you're curious, here's what I got. My friend Animal drew it after I sorta gave him an idea of what I wanted. I fell in love with his sketch, and right directly onto my leg the stencil was transferred. It was my first tattoo, and it hurt like hell. I am still in love with it. Thanks, Animal.

Then I bartered some handmade garb to Animal's beautiful wifey wench for this tattoo for my sweetie Orion. Animal and Orion came up with the idea, and Animal drew it up. The symbol behind the bear-claw marks is a Tuchux symbol. Do not steal it or the Tuchux will eat your babies and kidnap your wimmins. We might just do that anyway.Much chest hair was sacrificed for the making of this tattoo.
