Clean Out Your Fridge



Pasta Bake for Super-Retardo Moms

In your lasagna pan put a pound of dry/uncooked whole-wheat pasta (I like spaghetti broken to bits, or Penne pasta.)
Add whatever veggies you have in the fridge chopped. (I used carrots, celery, onion, and zucchini) Put in about a cup of each, except the onion. A little bit of diced onion is fine.
Mix the vegetables all up with the pasta.
Sprinkle with real bacon bits.
Cover with a whole jar of Alfredo Sauce.
Fill to top of pasta with chicken broth, about a whole box of liquid broth. I think that's a quart.
Bake at 375F for 45 minutes to an hour.
Take out of oven, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, and dot with butter. (Dotting with butter is optional – I like it better without any butter.)
Cover with foil and bake until pasta is tender and cheese is bubbly, about 10 or 15 more minutes.
